Expedition Limitless is a transformative initiative that combines challenging expeditions with charitable fundraising. In 2023, Phil Quirk and Matt Larsson-Clifford led the expedition team on a 120 km trek above the Arctic Circle in Northern Sweden. The journey from Abisko to Nikaluokta was designed to foster resilience, self-leadership, and decision-making skills among expedition teammates. The target for Year 1 was £50,000, which the team exceeded with an impressive £67,000.
In 2024, Expedition Limitless undertook a new challenge: a 715 km canoe journey along the Yukon River in Canada. A team of 17 participants paddled for up to nine hours each day, raising £108,000 for Manx Mencap, an organisation that supports individuals with learning disabilities.
Expedition Limitless has two primary goals:
Explore Challenging Environments
Raise Vital Funds for Charities
Expedition Limitless 2026
If you are looking for an adventure which will push you to your limits of resilience, Expedition Limitless 2026 could be the solution. For EL26, we will return to the Arctic Circle in Northern Sweden and once again complete a 120km snowshoe trek with the aim of raising £200,000 which will be split evenly across two amazing charities; Rebecca House Children’s Hospice and The Children’s Centre.
As is standard for our Expedition Limitless adventures, for all participants, this will be a once in a lifetime experience and for some, it will be a truly life changing experience.
Expedition 2026 Documentary
Dave Lovelady will be our EL26 videographers and produce a documentary which will be entered into the London Film Festival.
The documentary will seek to showcase the Isle of Man’s natural beauty and capture the unique spirit of Manx people within the Expedition run-up and fundraising events.
