Simon Nicholas
Simon has had a long and distinguished career in professional services and consulting. Most recently, Simon has been a senior partner of KPMG in the Isle of Man and the regional head of ESG at KPMG.
Simon’s career has focussed on management consulting, assurance, M&A/deal advisory and strategy advisory. Simon’s professional services career has involved working with Blue Chip to owner-managed clients from his bases in London, Bermuda, Gibraltar, and the Crown Dependencies (IOM, Jersey, and Guernsey). Simon formed and grew the preeminent ESG advisory services business for KPMG across nearly 15 countries, advising governments, large corporates and regulated companies in ESG strategy design and implementation – interacting with NGO, UK, EU and SEC regulatory bodies.
Simon is the chief economic advisor to the Isle of Man Government and a non-executive director of Finance IOM, the think tank and economic promotion agency for Financial Services. Simon won IoD Sustainability Director of the Year in 2022.
Simon was the Founder and Chair of the successful Bridge Angel Network, advising and coaching start-up organisations in the UK and IOM, predominantly in the tech sector.
